Pros

About the only thing good regarding RBC Bank (USA) is staying to care for the clients we gathered through the years. If the job market would turn around we'd all be so out of there!

Cons

Need I say that just when you think you got it- you don't! Too many chiefs at the top with too many different bits & pieces of information coming daily from multiple layers of management. Thus the daily manual updates! Employees are so micro-managed then what's worse: management knows it and does nothing about it. Reviews called PMD's are a joke- your manager makes you change the real feedback comments so he/she won't be held accountable yet you are for not making the goals. You are squeezed to produce such high numbers when the reality is if you even come close they change the tally at bonus time. So under rewarded for our efforts.

Pros

Stable work life balance. The culture is really great, very easy to work with complex management and managers. Willing to help you grow and learn with clients

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth unless you come in the door with that expectation. It can be very easy to get stuck in this role as your pay slowly increases and the job title mostly stays the same. Associate promotions and raises are rarely given and take a lot of coercion to get.
