Pros

Great benefits and stable bank culture. Ability to work from home 1 day per week.

Cons

Working for RBC Wealth Management is incredibly frustrating if you're a city person and like to get things done quickly. RBC employees often have a Midwestern slowness / lack of urgency that makes client service difficult if you live in the big city. Little to no instructions or training on the job. California managers have no idea what's going on.

Pros

Stable work life balance. The culture is really great, very easy to work with complex management and managers. Willing to help you grow and learn with clients

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth unless you come in the door with that expectation. It can be very easy to get stuck in this role as your pay slowly increases and the job title mostly stays the same. Associate promotions and raises are rarely given and take a lot of coercion to get.
