Pros

- Individual colleagues and immediate managers are passionate, knowledgeable and friendly - Encouraged remote work policy - Nice perks like a week off in the summer (at the cost of the typical standard of a week off during the winter holidays)

Cons

- Strongly pushing an extremely unpopular return to office - Using biased stats from real estate managers to justify RTO, when questioned about the biased sources response was to brush aside concerns - Upper management seems to be unaware how cross team and instead pushes for an unrealistic version of how they THINK it should work - Even if RTO had to happen, the roll out of this plan has been a mess, with offices only getting a few weeks notice before start date, leaving them to scramble without enough resources to accommodate everyone returning

Thank you for sharing your reaction to our updated flexible work policy, which requires employees to be in the office two days a week. As we shared during a recent CEO Update, the majority of companies, like us, have realized a hybrid approach to be the best of both worlds - the ability for employees to continue to have choice over where they work the majority of days, but also provide the camaraderie of working together and enhanced opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and development that come with in-office work. It’s important to us that our employees feel supported and informed during the transition, which is why we provided several months' notice to make any arrangements needed in order to meet the requirement of two days in office. We hope you find that once you get through the change of daily routine and are coming in a couple of days a week, you do enjoy the opportunities it affords.

Pros

- Back to office minimum is 2 days a week which in NY is very good - Solid and stable company, lean and profitable in Booking Holdings - Opportunity to work on many topics - Good culture amongst peers and colleagues. I've found people very helpful and collaborative. - daily catered lunch in office

Cons

- Being lean means prioritizing ruthlessly, so sometimes initiatives will have to go the backlog - I did find that a lot of people take on more than their JD (there's amazing accountability), which also means that people can be very busy.

Thanks for the thoughtful review! We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the flexibility of our hybrid model, the collaborative culture, and the opportunity to work across a broad range of projects. You’re right that we operate with a lean approach - it’s something we monitor closely to make sure teams have what they need to succeed. We ask teams to stay focused on the work that will have the biggest impact, and that sometimes means making tough prioritization decisions. If day-to-day priorities ever feel unclear, we encourage employees to partner with their Manager to help align on focus areas and impact. Thanks again for the feedback and for being part of the Priceline team!
