Pros

You get food free of cost at lunch time. A couple of outings in every quarter

Cons

Spoiler Alert! Not for the faint hearted! An organization runs on the collective conscience of people who are a part of it,seldom will you find that an organization runs on the whims and fantasies of individuals! At the heart of the problem lies 2 individuals a person who manages the Bangalore office and goes by creating a fake impression of being a hands-on geek! Well if you happen to cross him he will throw you out after getting your marching orders from the person who runs the US office. To be Honest it's a Mom and Pop's shop with "It's my way or the Highway attitude!" Some frivolous accounts how people have been thrown out - 1. Apprehension of an employee to keep working on Saturdays and Sundays continuously! 2. Another employee was thrown out coz he disapproved of Pizza at lunch! 3. One got thrown out coz he took an external project to work on through crowd sourcing! The bigotry at this place is of historical proportions. I refuse to acknowledge this place as a company.

Pros

Downtown parking was convenient, lunch was brought in daily, a pretty cool work space with nice desks--set up in a way that SHOULD promote collaboration.

Cons

The office space is open and bright, but the employees do not openly collaborate--let alone speak to one another. Much of the communication occurs online. In-person discussions are just not held in high regard here, as it is considered a waste of time. It is a very awkward work environment to spend 50+ hours a week in. Little to no organization when it comes to your projects. Many times I found myself working a project all the way through pre-launch stage, only to find an email (or sometimes no notification at all) saying "this was no longer a priority", wherein the project was dropped entirely. Wasted time. Always felt a sense of utter chaos. Felt constantly frenzied to ship comps with no clear direction of what the scope of a project was. Management does not make any effort to openly collaborate or engage their employees in areas where they are passionate. Really are just looking for button pushers who can ship their products with their vision in mind and no overarching goal.
