Pros

None that I can think of with how bad the culture has gotten here.

Cons

Too many to choose from. Extremely toxic culture where anything you say can and will be used against you. Rampant nepotism across the leadership with high level positions only filled by friends of the current executives. No vision to speak of and constant turnover. Pearson is trying to be a tech company without doing any of the work to change their culture. Even worse is they promise all kinds of things to new hires to get them in the door and then completely go back on those promises. This is so bad that some new hires has left very quickly, even not coming back after their first day. If you don't change the culture entirely, Pearson will absolutely continue falling further behind the market leaders.

Pros

When a project goes according to plan you can work with some great people and make decent money.

Cons

Bad behavior is tolerated when you have a weak team member. They are allowed to remain on payroll, even if they do not effectively contribute. The burden is often placed on the team members willing to pick up the slack. Promotions are not given to the most qualified. They are randomly assigned. There are some horrible scoring directors as a result.
