Good compensation, benefits and work-life balance. Good culture on some teams. Generous stock plans for employees. You will learn a lot.
Cons
Middle managers are clueless and lack experience in their teams’ core areas. Toxic work environments are rampant. My manager doesn’t know what I am doing on a day-to-day basis, and forgets the projects I’m working on constantly. He seems more interested in talking about the stock price than anything else.
