What you're told when you interview with Paradigm is nothing like what working at Paradigm is like. They put out the "flexible" vibes but middle management micro manages and tries to bully employees with work and passive aggressive behavior.
When I interviewed, they pushed the fact about the company pushes tons of alcohol on employees at their "gathering". Manager was super unprofessional during interview and giggled the entire time. At some point in the interview she asked me, "If you could be a tree... any tree... what kind of tree would you be?" I wasn't quite sure what the point of this was and perhaps this whole thing should have been a red flag to run.
They have no sense of organization or utilize sprints for work. Feels very chaotic and siloed between departments. I mentioned to UX manager I wasn't happy and rather than asking how she could retain an employee, she was quick to get an attitude and push employees out. Very low pay for the industry, lack of perks, and there's an overall sense here that you should just feel lucky as an employee to be working remote.
Overall, feels like they expect a lot from employees for absolutely nothing in return.
