Pros

The engineers and work force who produce are good people

Cons

Management and HR are in bed together. There is Zero employee advocacy and Management alone has ruined what was once a great company to work for run by Engineers, now run by bean counters who only care about their bonuses and pockets while they strip away all benefits from employees. Human Resources is a joke, they work hand in hand with Management and if there is a problem they simply defer it and point it right back at the employee.

Pros

Steady work and interesting projects. Really positive culture with engaged Employee Resource Groups. A good mix of long-term managers, and those moving up. Reverse commute from a good chunk of Los Angeles along the 101. Benefits standard good. Getting paid for extra hours during crunch times is nice vs. standard salary for most engineering companies. Still salary when there are brief lulls in projects.

Cons

Bad commute from Ventura Big return to site push even for roles that don't need it.

Pros

Lots of opportunities for advancement, competitive pay for professional non-engineering roles, plenty of people who choose to stay for 10+ years

Cons

Can be very clique-y despite the large size, can be hard to move up without HEAVY networking, nepotism and favoritism run rampant, people who are bad at their job tend to "advance" quicker because you are eligible for new jobs after being in your role for 6 months so that can be discouraging if you care about actual development
