Pros
None, really. Pay is low, perks are all but gone, and every employee I speak to have nothing but horror stories to share of how good it used to be 5-10 years ago, and how in recent times everyone is busy finding excuses for the terrible political games they have to endure.
Cons
Never have I experienced such an uncoordinated mess in my professional life. For the project I was on, we went through FOUR project managers, each one incapable of performing their role. Their only interest was in saving face and throwing people under the bus to make themselves look better. There is ZERO accountability at management level, and they are more than happy to lose talented staff in favour of protecting their clique.
