Pros

Worked for more than 10+ years and fortunate to work with high performing teams. Nokia is employee friendly, having Global environment.

Cons

There is huge disparity in salaries specially in India. Many cases where higher grade is getting less salary than lower grade. You can imagine Line manger (LM) is getting lower salary than his team member. Performance review is on paper and fully based on your relation with LM. Most of the LMs are incompetent's as they are with the company for many years and grow based on PR not because of their performance (or they never thought to upgrade themselves)

Decent starting salary, good benefits, generous PTO

Cons

1% raises forever. Last promotion I got to Principal had no raise but a bump in bonus percentage. Now they are giving kids 8-12% raises and they have less than 5 yrs. Once you hit about 5 yrs you will get the 1% a yr and be pigeon holed into a specific job. Then good luck trying to change.
