      Pros

      - great atmosphere, just like academic life - good salary for student's first job - nice trainings provided by company - one can learn a lot at the beginning - flexible working hours - a lot of green around the office

      Cons

      - salary rises are terrible - you quickly learn a lot, but then there's nothing new except for company-specific stuff - lack of equipment - poor focus on quality - higher management has no idea about testing

      Pros

      Decent starting salary, good benefits, generous PTO

      Cons

      1% raises forever. Last promotion I got to Principal had no raise but a bump in bonus percentage. Now they are giving kids 8-12% raises and they have less than 5 yrs. Once you hit about 5 yrs you will get the 1% a yr and be pigeon holed into a specific job. Then good luck trying to change.
