Pros
- People initially very friendly and kind - Initial attempts at community development were well intentioned and uplifting
Cons
Significant: -Obstruction of attempts to get information regarding timelines, significance of tasks & goals -Deflection of uncomfortable topics // told I am unable to be informed on topics that directly affected the job tasks -Largely unproductive meetings revolving around development // sustaining inability to make clear and decisive decisions with Leadership -Mentorship/ Learning & Motivational techniques questionable and at times boarder line aggressive -Atmosphere often ran extremely hot and cold // environment often felt very unstable like you had no way of knowing what to expect from peoples temperaments from one day to the next -Felt like unresolved issues/tasks from above would trickle down to lower tiers // like carrying a burden of someone above your pay grade without the clear discussion of the issue -Leadership consistently had a feeling of lacking confidence even when the company overall was skyrocketing in profits // may be an inconsistency in external perception and shifting brand image?? -often felt as if the days and weeks would simply repeat themselves with little progress -conflict of insistence on "staying in ones lane" whilst also trying to balance lagging tasks and not taking on another role (many silos sometimes hard to decipher who is actually intended to do what for how long and why) Minor: - Company attitude largely not as "Bold" as they sell // not a lot of energy to be felt in the office on most days - Community lacks a feeling of warmth and connection - Cubicles
