Pros

1. Good salary, as per market standard. also good appraisal (on average) Everything is included in CTC (Employer PF contribution, Gratuity (explaining it later)) Good tax saving schemes 2. Work From Home was one of the best things before 2020, now every organization is having this option. 3. Work-life balance is in your hand, if you work 24hr, no one will come to you for asking about your health. So need to work smartly. No one can force you to work extra, you should have the guts to say "NO". 4. Good amount of leaves 5. Flexibility in working hours There is something that stopped me here for 10 years :-), but now I know if I have to full fill my aspirations, I have to leave. you cant wait for infinite time just in the hope

Cons

1. Feedback review process is Black-box. You never know what feedback is given for you, even HR will not tell you that. Their reply "That is confidential". Just imagine my feedback is not known to me, that is confidential to me, WTF. This feedback is going to decide my appraisal. Your work doesn't matter, if the manager doesn't like you, he will ruin you. And you will never come to know about your feedback. and you can not question anything, the reason being your feedback is Black-Box. Only if you have a relative in HR, you will know your feedback, which is very unlikely. So in nut-n-shell, you are at mercy of the manager, who can not be questioned. This process was introduced only a few years back. 2. We don't have many choices in choosing the project, the technology you want to work on. 3. Some older employees think they are boss, and harassment can happen. They try to rule you, so the key here is, speak against that at the moment, no matter who is that person, complaint to HR, refuse to work with/under that person. You are not a servant. Keep your dignity always high. 4. If you thought of working hard and then ask for an onsite opportunity, forget that. There is no relation between hard work and onsite. There is no mechanism/guidelines/way to get onsite. On-Site is totally luck-based or if you have good relationships with senior management. They will say that they have policies for on-site, trust me there is nothing like that. Let me explain a) Manager cant do anything about onsite, everything is in HR's hand b) Since you are not working closely with HR, so he/she will not care about your aspirations c) Don't get caught in the manager's trap on onsite, he can't do anything (trust me). Unless there is an onsite opportunity in your project. d) you can not ask to change projects, just because you need on-site. e) Even after 10yr in Nagarro, you are not getting onsite, just imagine. Even when, you are expressing your on-site aspirations every time in your feedback as your primary ask. And this is when you are a consistent performer. 5. Gratuity must not exceed 4.81% as per govt rules. Here, the gratuity % will increase with your salary. and the calculation is simple, They will deduct all future amounts also from salary which you will be getting as gratuity. What you actually get is, all the money deducted from your salary without any interest, most probably 2-5% less than what is deducted from your salary. So basically Gratuity is "This is mainly paid to the employee as a token of appreciation for his/her services towards the company." but there is no appreciation here. 6. Salary cut in Covid19, and delayed appraisal

Pros

Very flexible and good for work/life balance. Insurance is fully paid for by the company and doesn’t come out of your check which is a pro.

Cons

For this position, your employment only goes as far as billable hours go. If they are running low on projects, they will give you a 2 weeks notice to look for a project within the company and HR claims they will help you, but in my experience they did not.
