Pros
Working in the organization for 12+ years you tend to see it all, hence listing out the pros is based on my overall experience. 1. Great range of technology stack to work with 2. You can opt for an opportunity you want as long as the existing dependency is transitioned. 3. Work-life balance, only if you work with certain managers 4. Compensation is also good if you have high visibility with your manager or BU head
Cons
Now, this part is a bit longer considering I have seen the organization transition over a decade, now when I think of it it is really a long long time. Will try to keep it short 1. Too much process-oriented, for it to lose the focus on individuals 2. The attention is outwards with more market win, and not inwards with the actual execution of the win. 3. The business units (domain-specific) have made it harder to transition on to different opportunities across the organization 4. The utilization balance is too off, some folks would be over-utilized and other underutilized also the allocation of tasks and role is not always as per the skillset I got a few more, but think the one above provides a good understanding of how I see the changes in 10 years
