Good - Senior Associate, Technology Nagarro Employee Review

Pros

Better than other service-based companies: tcs, aricent, sapient etc. Job security - people on bench for over 6 months, still not layoffs. Good compensation/increments - reduced, but still good. Opportunities to work on multiple projects. Work-life balance depends on client/project but it is good overall.

Cons

Culture is diluting as the company is under expansion. Transparency is reducing - ratings are not shared, increments are random etc. Unfairness - few people having good faith of managers, or, under NAGP program are treated better than others (increments, onsite, project change requests etc.). Some clients can be really tough. Resource management needs too much improvement: Many people are on bench and still there are projects which need people for months and not getting them.

Dear colleague, You have touched upon an important point here. We had to reduce transparency in assessments temporarily to help correct ratings behaviour, and we do want to re-introduce it soon. You mention resource management and people being on the bench while projects look for people. Please be assured that almost every person on the bench is being proposed somewhere or the other on any given day. Everything just takes time. Best regards, Manas

Pros

Very flexible and good for work/life balance. Insurance is fully paid for by the company and doesn’t come out of your check which is a pro.

Cons

For this position, your employment only goes as far as billable hours go. If they are running low on projects, they will give you a 2 weeks notice to look for a project within the company and HR claims they will help you, but in my experience they did not.
