Pros

Good Android Engineers Good ability to get products to market

Cons

This company has an unclear product vision with a more clear motive to sell the company than actively grow the company to a number one competitor. They have overpaid and hired members in the senior management team to appear like they have a credible team on paper so that they can assure VC firms and investors that they are capable of building a decent product. Trying out the product and speaking to customers of the telecom carriers, you'll quickly find out there is no real need for their product and it doesn't truly benefit the company. They are a publicity expert, but deliver an absolute horrendous product. Everything is wrapped in a pretty bow - to secure another round of investments. But the CEO treats the employees like dirt and the CFO is another horrible person, especially some of the brutal ways of letting people go. The Churn rate is extremely high in this company.

Our results speak for themselves. We have gone from zero to 500,000+ paid subscribers in less than a year. Every investor in our seed round, A round and now B round continue to invest in Mojio and our growth. We are beating the competition by working hard, executing our plan and building products that customers love.

Pros

Working at Mojio has been a pleasant surprise. The exec team really cares about the employees and they trust the employees to do their best without micro-management, As a PM, you can expect to grow quickly as you work on unique business models combined with pretty impressive tech. You are given opportunities that can help you challenge the status quo and that pushes you to think out of the box for solutions that are one of a kind in the industry and yet customer centric. You can also expect to work on a platform that has scaled to a 7-digit vehicle base while working for a startup. You are encouraged to push the envelope to the point where the company actually has a great incentive for patents. The benefits are also great including cell phone bill reimbursement, LSA, generous PTO policy, great medical benefits and pretty much all holidays that you can think of.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that the team is split between Campbell and Vancouver but we have all been working remotely from home for almost a year so it’s not that big of a deal at this point.
