Pros
1) Exposure to health systems of all sizes and business types (not for profit, for profit, multi-site, standalone, etc). 2) Senior executives are approachable and have the interests of McKesson's clients as a top priority 3) Collaborative work environment that allows personnel from different business units to approach one another for assistance as needed 4) Excellent on-line product tutorials for employees who are willing to put time and effort into learning about products.
Cons
1) Mid-level resource managers require more training and mentoring 2) Little opportunity to recoup time lost to work-life imbalance (manager dependent) 3) Technical support for employees facing computer problems is abysmal and has not improved despite management perception that it is good.
