Pros

The office was on Harcourt Street so nights out were easy to arrange. When we were in the office my colleagues (not senior management) were truly fantastic and everyone was very supportive.

Cons

Where do I begin? Salary- If you want to be paid atleast 10k below industry standards, receive no commission, bonus or salary reviews then this is the place for you. I worked for Manpower for almost 3 years and never received a salary review or increase. 3% commission need I say more...free sandwich on a Wednesday though! HR-The only time I ever heard from HR over the space of almost 3 years was when they were forcing me to take annual leave during a lock down and then placing me on the wage subsidy scheme despite the fact my area of the business was not impacted by covid (Nice profit for Manpower as they kept all my commission from this period). Didn't even bother to show up for my exit interview. No compassion or care for employees. Reaction to a certain event was a disgrace and was a real eye opener...how many people have left the business since April/May? Management-Abysmal is all I can say. They don't consider anything employees say or listen to any ideas that would improve the business. They will force you into taking on 3-4 different roles at once and expect miracles everyday. Over work you everyday and give you absolutely no praise or thanks in return. Career progression-LOL Manpower is as dead end as it gets. The only progression you get is if a colleague leaves and you are given all of their responsibilities because they're too cheap to hire someone else. When I left Manpower I was working 3 different jobs for the same salary I started on. Training is horrendous. Anyone with any kind of ambition or respect for the skills should avoid Manpower.
