Pros
The actual Sales Associates are really great people to work with. The department that I worked in was like a family.. we had each others' backs and we were willing to work together.
Cons
The management has trouble announcing changes and informing the associates in their department of necessary things. For instance, I went in to work one day, checked my schedule, and found that the entire next week was blank! This was absolutely horrible for me, considering I am a flat broke college student and I had even gone in to work the day before to ask for more hours, which they said they would give to me. When I asked my supervisor about the lack of hours on my schedule, he sent me to HR because he didn't know what else to do. When I got to HR... they told me that they were laying me off as a Part-time Sales Associate then re-hiring me as an on-call associate. They said that I should have been informed by my supervisor. I was definitely NOT informed. Also, they said that I would recieve 2 weeks worth of severance, since i wouldn't be able to work until I was re-hired as an on-call associate. It has now been 1 1/2 months since that meeting, and they have not answered my calls, nor contacted me in any way. Also, i recieved only one week of severance. Somebody needs to get it together. I don't appreciate the way that they treated me. It's like they're taking advantage of me because I'm "young" and I don't know how I should actually be treated.
