Pros
Discounts are nice. They are generous with hours and fairly flexible. Little perks help here and there like coupons for opening up credit cards and a little bonus for meeting monthly and annual quotas.
Cons
Expect WAYYY too much out of you for an $11 an hour job. You have to bend over backwards for them for almost minimum wage. Managers are always on your case about opening credit cards. God forbid you have a day without opening one up, all Hell breaks loose. I tried to explain myself when this happened to me one day, saying most people either have one already or dont want to add credit cards to their name for a measly 20% discount. I was shocked when I was told this was "unacceptable". They expect you to make people sign up by FORCE. It is a common theme for them to forget that you are one person with 2 hands. And me, working in Mens Polo, I have a lot on my plate. If im by myself, I am expected to greet customers, man the register, recover merchandise off the floors and put it all back neatly, AND make sure I am doing it with a smile on my face. This may sound impossible, but its whats expected. Why is this place a mess they ask? I dont know, maybe its because I couldnt get off the register for 6 hours straight. Countless times I have not been able to take my break that I am entitled to. And God forbid you dont take your lunch before a certain time. I could go on and on but ill stop here. Definitely dont work here unless you have to
