      - Fun environment - Fast paced - Diverse backgrounds for employees

      Cons

      - Lack of longer term leadership/lots of uncertainty in workspace - Benefits got worse and worse over time - Limited ability to grow career/transition to new roles - Lots of tribal knowledge and people who have been in roles because they were early employees at the company

      Pros

      Academic environment that has a lot of interesting science problems from mapping, optimization, plus all the usual user metrics. Rewarding and complex problems that often have a lo t of tradeoff.

      Cons

      For how good the ICs are, leadership is equally bad. Just riddled with poor decisions top/down. Also given the current state, Uber is just too strong of a competitor and you feel that pressure every day.
