Pros
Plenty of challenging work to go around. The company really cares about their employees and it shows in the benefits and resources. Excellent work-life balance due to flex time, vacation, and benefits like 401k Instead of laying off when a program is cancelled or a reduction in force, they try to place you with another program even if you have to work remotely.
Cons
They are a government contractor and sometimes it takes a long time to incorporate a change to a design. That is just the nature of the work and it is frustrating. I think our program has way too many managers and not enough engineers to do the work. I think the engineering computers could be better.
