Pros
Great work-life balance. Great PTO and 401k benefits. Flexible hours. Steady comfortable work. 4/10 schedule (10 hours Mon-Thurs) is sort of a gimmick, but people like it. Saves you commute time, but you still get tired like you work 5 days a week.
Cons
Lots of outdated legacy systems and very little new stuff to work on. Direct program charging is tedious when filling out timesheet. Onsite worksite classification is annoying sometimes. Bureaucracy is a pain but makes the work very slow and comfortable. You can easily work here forever because the legacy systems that are already older than you will easily outlive you.
