Pros
Have pushed to make opportunities to learn new things while working here. Advancement is slow, but eventually occurs. The people who work here are phenomenal.
Cons
Middle management is spineless. Pay raises are minimal, benefit costs to employees continue to rise above yearly salary raises. Management continues to expect more and more from employees, by demanding uncompensated overtime and weekend work. Refusal to comply results in Performance Improvement Plans and high pressure to conform to demands. Program Management continually under fund projects and then tell engineers that they are being "challenged" to meet unrealistic deadlines despite being told their expectations are unrealistic. Engineering principles are ignored to achieve the unrealistic schedules. Employees are undervalued and the reality that key individuals are leaving is not important to Management as they are more interested in meeting staffing levels than retaining intellectual knowledge base. At one time this was a good place to work. It has deteriorated with the loss of Senior Management from the CEO level down. Morale is at an all time low. Flex time has been eliminated, working here is like criminal chain gang labor.
