      Your experience will vary greatly depending on project or department. IT has more of a laid back atmosphere while working for defense programs can be much more competitive.

      Cons

      Promotions are slow and based more on years with company, than skill. Years reviews can offset this if you are an abover average performer.

      Work is great, 4x10 schedule is perfect...

      It's far. I live over 60 miles and everyday in person is hell drive.

      Pros

      High level of integrity throughout the company, open communications, and sincere interest in doing the right thing.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, I need to come up with twenty words of cons. When in reality after 41+ years in IT, I have no cons for Lockheed Martin. They are not perfect, but highly acceptable.
