Pros
Lockheed Martin is a large company, and can therefore offer a wide variety of opportunities. The projects I'm involved with tend to have smaller teams, and therefore each person has more responsibility within the project. At the same time, I have heard of huge projects, with 100 developers or more, which I imagine provide a totally different dynamic. I definitely feel like I'm making a difference working in Lockheed Martin, and I do get a sense of pride from that.
Cons
It is notoriously difficult to get a good raise and get promoted within Lockheed Martin. Some people are more lucky than others, of course, but I wouldn't get my hopes up about quickly growing within the company.
