Pros
Live Nation promotes a good culture, advertises that they have all these great benefits etc. It's not what it seems.
Cons
Prior to the pandemic- Live Nation still had issues. If you don't work in LA or NYC, you're not a big priority for LN and it showed. As the pandemic emerged there was minimal communication from LN- at first employees were told "Don't worry about layoffs, we're going to protect you, and we are here for you" Fast forward a few weeks, we received a phone call telling us we were going to be furloughed IN 2 DAYS. Imagine the shock of trying to figure out what to do- and there was one HR call telling us how they would help us. That's it. Management expected us to work those 2 days to get everything done, all projects transferred etc. It was insane. While furloughed we were kept completely in the dark about the future of our jobs- had a conference call with upper management once or twice every few months. We were told LN was here for us if we needed- but then we weren't even allowed to have communication with our managers. I barely got in touch with any of my managers, if I needed advice it was a very brief and awkward phone call. Additionally, we were told "if you are diagnosed with Covid- please contact HR we have resources to help you" I was diagnosed with Covid 19 and immediately reached out to HR. I never heard anything- not even an email or phone call acknowledging that I had contacted them. WHAT A JOKE! I tried reaching out to HR for the "resources" or "Help" I was promised as an LN Employee to help me get through Covid-19. But how did they "take care" of me when HR can't even respond back to a phone call? We were also told to apply for our own unemployment- which I did & to my surprise, my state called me telling me that actually LN was filing on our behalf & they decided not to take any taxes out on the front end...& because employers were filing for us, we couldn't override it. So now I owe all these taxes because LN made choices for me. It is a complete mess.
