      Pros

      Free food, decent benefits, South Bay location. 401k is good. ESPP was ok under LinkedIn (not great), and is now worse under Microsoft. Work life balance is good.

      Cons

      Best days are long gone. Microsoft acquisition has seen lots of changes for the worse and many of the good people have left or will be laid off (my opinion). Engineering departments are way behind what the real leaders are doing.

      Pros

      Compensation was strong and competitive. The people were genuinely good to work with, and on paper the mission is one you can get behind. Solid brand and a smart, capable workforce.

      Cons

      Leadership often felt political and opaque. Success was difficult to define clearly, and it frequently seemed like the business quietly picked winners and losers rather than rewarding performance on transparent terms.
