    Pros

Perfect place for people who know how to navigate corporate politics

    Cons

This is a terrible environment for anyone with skills and desire to do meaningful work. Capable people are being overloaded with menial tasks until they burn-out. Managers are unable to distinguish good from sloppy job. Brilliant professionals are taken for granted, while phonies get praised. The technology landscape is a random patchwork of incompatible products, most of them severely outdated and vulnerable. The solution to any problem is bringing in yet another incompatible product and then struggling to make it work. Despite data being the core of this business, the last two CEOs have been treating IT as an insignificant support division. There is hardly anyone technical left in IT management. The department has split into a multitude of satellite groups, spread throughout the business and led by technically illiterate individuals, making damaging decisions.
