Pros

Fair rates of pay, great colleagues,Managers work really hard at my store. Staff are committed to Lidl and work as hard as we can to make Lidl a pleasant experience for staff and customers.

Cons

Delivery drivers except one, are rude, left spilt milk in the chiller with all delivery and a pool just outside the roller door. Deliver too early, just as shop has closed and staff are still working. Very badly stacked deliveries, just look at the waste numbers. One driver was trying to pick in the loading door while tapping Morse code on the bell. When we have complained, were told nothing they can do as they are a contract company. Packing area a real issue, if it is pointed out to customers you suffer abuse, only a select few who were using the shop from first opening, use the packing shelf. Customer parking is always an issue for some and on tills you tend to have customers vent it at you.

Very divers tasks diverging from different products lines like dry food, fresh food, flowers, bakery

Doesn’t use much of the new tools, excel only
