Pros

The New York office space is beautiful and in a great location! Every is nice. There are a lot of social events you can go to. You can learn a lot in a short period of time.

Cons

You've heard it before - your experience at Konrad is luck of the draw based on the project you’re on and the Manager on your project. You’re going to be overworked and underpaid, and the excuse is that, “Konrad is a young, fun agency with cool projects.” I would take that with a grain of salt! Most everything I worked on was quite dull. I mentioned in my pros list that I learned a lot in a short period of time. This is true! And I do want to acknowledge that my experience at Konrad helped me get to where I am today. However, throughout my time at Konrad, I got put in a position where I was taking the hit on everything (Manager not providing necessary support and then coming down on me weekly for not doing enough when they regularly missed meetings that I was running, Managers switching around, Managers quitting and then being asked to “step it up” without additional pay, Design Lead not supporting their team, and being forced into keeping everyone in good spirits so as to not come across as sloppy/unprofessional to the client). It was a bit chaotic at times, and I got burnt out quickly. But the experience helped me identify what to look for / what not to look for in future positions and for that, I am thankful!

Pros

Great place to be early in your career, with good responsibility and fun coworkers your age. Use as a learning period then start looking for better opportunities.

Cons

Slower, less engaging work (could be a pro though); management cultivates an odd greeklife-eqsue social environment that can limit opportunities for people who don't buy in; pay well below industry standard and minimal benefits
