Pros

As far as retail goes, it was generally an easy place to work. The POS systems were pretty intuitive and fast, which made getting customers out the door a short process. For the most part, customers who came in were in a good mood, likely because of the constant bargains. Also management was fairly kind and understanding.

Cons

After being there about six months, management started really pushing us sales associates to sign customers up for the Kohl's credit card. I previously left a position at Macy's because I did not like the sales goal aspect of the position, so trying to persuade people to sign up for credit cards reminded me all too much of Macy's. But I understand it's what a company has to do.

Pros

None. I was hired to be a person that restocks and cleans, they saw I was able to ring up and put me as a cashier.

Cons

Very little pay, terrible training, horrible management and some terrible customers. Disgusting location also, I went to a manager about toilet paper out in the women restroom, he told me it was a morning task. It was 7pm, the store closed at 11pm! Also CASHIERS ARE LYING YO CUSTOMERS TO GET THEM TO OPEN CREDIT CARDS! Shady stuff I heard as a cashier. Also during my interview no one showed up, when I called the manager made it seem like I was bugging her for my interview
