Pros

Offices are clean... Ok, more seriously: you will find good people there, mostly good people who worked at KPMG abroad, and came here on secondment, from the UK, Australia, US, France, etc. Most of these people have director or associate director role, and some of them can coach you.

Cons

Partners are not there to help. They have no vision, and run like chicken without heads. I have been there for three years. We changed names. We changed our teams. We changed our priorities (all the time). We change people (because they often leave). But nothing else has changed in the core of the company that would make it the good company it is abroad.

Pros

It might sound cliche but the Pro for me is the people that I work with. I'm lucky enough to be staffed in a team with great leadership. Managers are actually willing to coach junior members and be a real mentor. I very much appreciate their efforts.

Cons

Long hours and office politics. This is pretty basic and obvious for any public accounting firms. Every time a quarter end, year end, or a special filing is going out, you can expect 10-14 hour days. It might be fine in your early career but it gets really tiring after a few years.
