Pros
Good salary, short hours (35), 9-5pm Mon-Fri, paid 2x15 mins breaks (contracted), informal wear, relaxed use of company equipment/acceptable use as long as reasonable, regular comms, 1hr team time each week, breakfast/lunch treats, good training, great benefits 25 days holiday with option to buy/sell 5 days, allowed to carry over too. Paid overtime, or take as time off/owed instead. City centre location. These may seem trivial positives to some people reading this but there's not many 9-5 jobs anymore let alone the other perks. All adds up to a good work/life balance people desire. The current market wants you to work longer hours and pay less, unpaid overtime etc
Cons
Micro management, a lot of red tape hindering common sense approach to work, not a huge amount of opportunities.
