Pros

Strong training & onboarding – good learning foundation in claims and insurance industry. Exposure to diverse cases – handling different types of auto claims builds expertise. Career growth opportunities – possibility to move into senior claims, specialty lines, or management. Supportive team culture – colleagues and managers often willing to help. Job stability – established, reputable insurance company. Employee benefits – health, dental, retirement/pension plans, employee discounts. Hybrid/remote work options (depending on department). Professional development – access to courses, certifications, and internal mobility.

Cons

since merged with intact .. High workload & case volume – can feel overwhelming during peak seasons. Fast-paced environment – strict deadlines and performance metrics. Emotional challenges – dealing with upset or stressed customers regularly. Limited advancement speed – promotions and role changes may take time. System/process changes – frequent updates to procedures can be hard to keep up with. Work-life balance challenges – extra hours may be needed to keep up with claims. High performance expectations – must consistently meet targets for file handling and service.

Pros

Great people, there is almost always someone there to help you when you have questions. They tend to usually work the schedule around other commitments that employees have except during during busy season

Cons

They do not pay attention to problems that arise between employees and management at times and sometimes management involves itself in the problem and makes it worst. They are not big on seniority as the company has fired people that have worked here for more then 8 years. And it's a very repetitive job with little to no chance of moving up in the company
