The culture is toxic. Nepotism is encouraged and if it’s brought up then the person noticing it it’s attacked.
The concerns were brought up to higher management about nepotism (a project went down because mother, daughter and another sister and brother were assigned to work on it). When things went bad “conflict of interest” was obvious and when told, the manager only said “we don’t talk about this, this can’t be said”.
The acceptance rate after the employee survey was less than 40% for 2nd year in a row. Management wants to understand what’s wrong although even if told, nothing happens. HR was involved although nothing was done (they just reported to the same manager). People are sick and tired of being passed on from promotions, not getting opportunities because of nepotism. You should not allow family members to work in the same team and under the same director. Also, if they work in different departments do not assign them to the same project because… “CONFLICT OF INTEREST”
