Pros
Nice people, decent experience, they pay for courses.
Cons
The pay is abysmal. It's on the low end of the industry standard, even though they write more business than the industry standard. Business that is currently serviced by overworked and underpaid employees. They expect a lot for very little. They also are pushing for people to return to the office, but they aren't listening to our feedback about how much we're suffering under the cost of living crisis. The true reason a lot of us don't want to come back to the office is because we simply can't afford to travel so much. They don't ask or care how many of us are working second jobs just to make ends meet, they just keep going on about productivity. Maybe I would be more productive if my buying power hadn't diminished by about 35% over the last year (while my rent has increased 40% in that same time) Maybe I'd be more productive if my salary from Intact alone actually paid enough for me to live in an apartment AND eat - but it doesn't. Maybe I would be more productive if I weren't one of 47% of households in my province that can't afford housing anymore. My salary has sent me to the food bank this year.
