Pros

You will make several "friends" and get to go on some exciting conferences and weekly happy hours. You learn early in your career what type of company you DON'T want to work for.

Cons

This company is a complete joke. It all starts with the hiring process. I've heard my bosses say multiple times "oh they don't have the right look." - meaning, they aren't pretty/handsome or skinny or well-dressed. If you pass that test and a couple interviews asking "what you like to do in your spare time," and "what sorority you were in" then you begin your job as recruiter slaving your life away (55+ hours per week) for a mere $33k salary. No overtime. Be ready to work holidays and possibly weekends. You're essentially a telemarketer, calling and re-calling potential candidates all day long. If you don't have at least 60 calls out in a day you are in trouble. You arrive at 7:15 and it's frowned upon if you leave the office before 5:30. Expect a very immature office environment (dancing, throwing things, playing pranks, and interoffice relationships). People are dishonest and cheat their way to the top. The reason you see so many great reviews on here is because you are begged to write a good review within your first few months of working at Insight Global ( I wrote one in month two, raving about how great the company is). You don't realize how bad it is at that point. The other reviews are from contractors, not internal employees. The turnover rate is crazy; I watched about 35 people (recruiters and seasoned account managers) leave over a period of about 10 months. People are typically hired to work here because they are somewhat smart, good-looking, and have a "Type A personality." If you are one of those people, I strongly advise you to use those qualities and find a better place to work. Don't waste your time, I wish I wouldn't have.

Pros

Can make good money, your coworkers are great

Cons

- work 7:45-5pm every day and will be questioned if you leave early - "hybrid" is onsite mon-fri with no flexibility - management is absolutely insane in every way - zero diversity, only hire blonde women in their 20s - base salary is laughable and you will be making that for at least a year if not more - management will play favorites and that has a direct impact your paycheck - constant work drama - no rewards for hard workers - benefits are a JOKE - 401k match is $250/year, health insurance is terrible, and zero perks of the job
