Pros
You can gather valuable recruiting experience from your initial training, that will allow you to take your talents elsewhere. You will see how terrible managers operate and use that example to be a better manager in the future.
Cons
Insight Global is notorious for finding preying on individuals that are unsure about their next step. Notably, they target collegiate athletes and fraternity/sorority members. This is shown heavily in the company culture of "optional" happy hours, gossip, and poor management. Oh also, you will be making 33,000 a year. Equates to roughly 15/hr. You will learn how to be a high volume recruiter, wether you like it or not. You have weekly performance reviews (like ???). Will be publicly praised and publicly shamed. "Only promoting from within" is used as a recruiting tool. However this is ridiculously counter intuitive. Only "top performers" will be promoted. These promotions end up with managers that have little to no people skills, and typically 0 management experience. This only allows for toxicity to grow and spread its roots. Just because you are good at your job does not mean you are good with people. The Greek Life esque culture is sickening, as the offices form cliques, which lead to gossip, work place bullying, and pushed alcohol abuse. You will be forced to work overtime, or else your "Path to Promotion" will be jeopardized. Keep in mind you start at 7:30 and end at 5:00 already. You are only given a 30 minute lunch break as well, which you typically will take at your desk.
