Pros

The culture that the management tries to bring in to its employees is appreciable. I would atleast say that I would definitely keep in mind of this even after leaving infosys. that would be the top thing- fairness and disclosures. excellent facilities, policies (some are debatable). working among the best people always give satisfaction, and bring in competitiveness. your perspective about different processes brings in good experience. many policies found for example related to environment social philanthropic, nurturing ones natural talent etc are seen very less in competitors. the company gives a good thought of work life balance though we do come to hear about exceptions quite commonlyy

Cons

u tend to get drowned within a strength of 100 thousand employees. appraisal process some times gives u a feeling of many constraints. and working within constraints will be very difficult if u have to bring in the fairness in the same situation. this generally is seen in many managers, where in it becomes just a routine in some activities. some processes are redundant, the company should track and find those this will reduce spends on those activities. the variable pay structure needs a good thought revision. it might be good but not the best. internal job switches /finding mechanism is not very good.

Pros

Legitimate source of gainful project-based tech employment. Handles the headaches of looking for tech work and verifying your talent & legitimacy as a professional in the field, which is especially valuable in the age of AI. Additionally, they offer internal training resources to help ensure your skills are up to date with the current tech landscape.

Cons

Pay can be significantly lower than might be expected for tech work at higher levels, as their business model is as a staffing company, garnishing part of the wage paid by project clients as part of your employment. It's definitely very livable payment in most places, but it doesn't approach senior or even mid-level pay offered by many other US-operating employers in the tech space. This company has also been operating on slow or outdated systems, which can be frustrating for the remote contact of many of its employees, but Infosys has been actively updating these systems over time. Additionally, work conditions will be set at the behest of clients. Infosys is your pipeline to client projects, not often the host of projects themselves, so working conditions & expectations can vary by client.
