Pros

* Smart colleagues * YOU days * Permanent remote option for those who love it. * Quarterly bonus payout.

Cons

* Has some toxic managers in Hyd. Micromanages to the level where even if you breath, it has to be documented. Manager asks for too much of things to be done in a short time. * Open PTO is a myth, nobody even takes their allocated leaves. Even when you take a leave, the manager will ask for the purpose leave. * Too much of metric-driven work, which asks you to work as per competency metrics rather than focusing on actual work. * Focus on JIRA count *Doesn't care about challenges of Remote work. *Too many useless meetings *Too many tracks you will be pulled into, leading to poor WLB * No ESPP option, poor RSU planner *If you get meets expectation, it is possible you may get 0% hike annually. *Complex/tiring performance review process which happens every 6 months.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear that your experience #insideindeed hasn’t always been positive. We’d like to address some of your concerns. As an employer, one of our biggest priorities is to provide employees with a safe working space. We care deeply about our employees’ experience and won’t tolerate toxic behavior. At Indeed, we champion a culture that values honest and transparent communication. In addition to encouraging employees to have 1:1 skip-level sessions with your leader to discuss workload and the challenges you’re facing, we have quarterly feedback as well as management effectiveness surveys, and we hold our leaders accountable to their actions. We’re here to support you and would like to gather more information so we can help you navigate through this. Please reach out to your local HR team to share more details. Our Open PTO (Paid Time Off) is intended to be used by everyone. We want employees to take the time-off they need, as long as they are hitting their targets and have manager approval. We encourage employees to have skip-level sessions so you can discuss this with your leader, and as always, feel free to reach out to your local HR team if you continue to face issues. It is our priority to make sure we are listening and acting on the concerns and suggestions of our employees, as they are the ones who help build us up as a company, and are our biggest and most valuable assets. We will share your feedback with the relevant teams, and at the same time, we would like to also invite you to share more information on this by sending us an email at inside@indeed.com. Your feedback will help us improve the way we work, so we appreciate you sharing your experience with us.

Pros

I loved the talented people I worked with; I appreciated being appreciated; I loved helping employers hire; and I really thought this would be the company I retired from.

Cons

The company culture changed significantly after it became publicly traded; I didn't particularly care for how they handled layoffs; they didn't always act on the feedback they received; and they were slow to jump on the AI train.
