Pros

Not much to say here.

Cons

When hired, I was told it was a senior level role and that the ramp up period was 6 months. It was a small team in WA and AZ. Communications were inconsistent and impacted me as a remote worker. 8 weeks into the job, I was let go. It was a complete surprise, no verbal/written warnings or feedback prior to the separation. Environment was 'cost conscious' and a bit amateurish. Many vaguely defined, poorly documented manual processes. I regularly heard 'we've never done that before' in response to my questions. I had to beg for cross training on tribal in-house processes. For a 'senior' role, there was *a lot* of junior IT work. The team was not friendly and I am glad to be out. Time tracking to the minute is required.

Pros

Fair, honest, and fun working environment. Truly great leadership all the way up, despite the odds of that. Very accessible career growth potential and expectations. Transparent pay bands and requirements. Supportive and kind HR department.

Cons

There were times where teams would have infighting, but there was an effort made to improve cohesion and morale.

Pros

Good people and some really talented engineers Most employees genuinely care about clients and want to do good work Exposure to a lot of different technologies and environments Plenty of opportunities to learn because there is always something going on

Cons

Constant reorgs and changing priorities Leadership is reactive and impulsive and the employees have to absorb it Feels like the company is always reacting instead of planning ahead Same problems come up over and over without really getting fixed Lack of accountability from leadership Low trust between employees and leadership Too many decisions made without enough input from the people doing the work Communication is inconsistent and depends heavily on your manager Can feel chaotic and reactive the majority of the time Strong culture of finger pointing and blaming
