Pros

- Ability to work from home for most departments. - Most managers feel as though they are macro-managers instead of micro. Never felt like I was being hovered over or asked to do something that was outside my scope. - Coworkers share a bond among one another and camaraderie is apparent within the departments - Working here feels more like spending time among friends rather than co-workers. - Office culture is very laid back and flexible as long as you're getting your work completed

Cons

- Pay could be better for career standard - Company was bought out by IQVIA some time ago and we were told "they only pay the bills, we still own the process" but as time goes on, IQVIA takes over more of the process of the company. Recently we changed our name to IQVIA Biotech and our CEO stepped aside to allow an IQVIA upper-manager to run the company. - Yearly "merit raise" may as well just be the managers offering to buy you dinner. The most recent year it was barely 2% - Departments don't really communicate well between each other. This can lead to extremely frustrating scenarios where something that should take only a day or so ends up taking weeks to resolve. - If you want a raise/promotion, it's easier to just move to another company or apply for another internal job than it is to move up via your manager or merit. Your hard work is never really rewarded unless you're above a line manager or Director role. I have seen some employees that have been in the exact same position for more than 5 years despite putting in insane extra hours and hard work.

Pros

Tremendous data assets and people subject matter expertise. Great assistance in providing employees with learning new skills and career growth. The company embraces workers with deep experience

Cons

A lot of confusion and competition on who engages clients and who gets credit for sales. Clients are often confused on who is the point of contact .
