Pros

I absolutely loved working for Quintiles and I would still be working there if I hadn't relocated. I love the salary, the recognition, the contracts, the value it gives it's nurses and the opportunities that are available with the company. I worked for home a Nurse Educator, and they provide everything you need. I also loved working with my team. The managers were awesome and really there to help you succeed at your job.

Cons

The only thing I didn't like was that they do much for you if you have to move to another project or help you find another project. I relocated from Chicago to Florida with my family because my husband to a new job in Florida and I let my manager know 6 months in advance so I could they could be on the look out for another position or project for me and they didn't do anything to assist me. I was a great worker, good reviews and even serving as the District team leader for my project and they look out for me at all. I was basically all on my own. I applied for other jobs at Quintiles and either I didn't get a call or I went on an interview and they choose someone else. This was hurtful seeing that I was doing such a great job at Quintiles. I also didn't receive my bonus even after staying until the end of the semester.

Pros

Resources and access to good studies to be successful in research, immediate PTO benefits, 401k match.

Cons

Growth opportunities/compensation - besides the annual merit raises of <3 percent I haven’t gotten a raise in 5 years.

Pros

Great pay initially, especially after negotiating. People are very smart and willing to meet for networking and learning opportunities. Flexibility and work life balance is by far the best perk - especially since many roles are fully remote.

Cons

Merit raises have been subpar the last 4 years and do not come close to keeping with inflation, consistently the company cites great EBITDA growth but that never is shown in bonuses nor merit raises despite receiving “exceeds expectations” ratings. Parental leave is a nominal. Very easy to get “lost in the sauce” of such a large company.
