Pros

Some line managers seem to truly want to help you advance in your career and want you to enjoy working at the company. Management frequently shows appreciation for workers. Work life balance is encouraged and the schedule is fairly flexible. Management is supportive of CTA's when issues arise in project teams. Training has become increasingly comprehensive. Good place to get CRO experience.

Cons

It is very difficult to advance from the CTA role if you aren't a new graduate and often takes several years unless you have a strong network (friends) in your desired department. The department values "new talent" aka new grads over senior employees which causes a lot of disgruntled workers who inevitably leave. Very few experienced and knowledgeable coworkers. High work loads because of the high turnover rate.

Pros

Great pay initially, especially after negotiating. People are very smart and willing to meet for networking and learning opportunities. Flexibility and work life balance is by far the best perk - especially since many roles are fully remote.

Cons

Merit raises have been subpar the last 4 years and do not come close to keeping with inflation, consistently the company cites great EBITDA growth but that never is shown in bonuses nor merit raises despite receiving “exceeds expectations” ratings. Parental leave is a nominal. Very easy to get “lost in the sauce” of such a large company.
