High pressure, working in American high performance culture and really really bad American managers & directors throughout UX. Managers aren’t trained to work with different cultures, working standards or even work with people with disabilities. US office treats Dublin office like it’s disposable and a novelty rather than it being a partnership and an equal. Culture code is all smoke and mirrors. They don’t really practice it, it’s just a marketing project they use to sell to get customers to trust their business model. HubSpot is really good at selling a warm and empathetic company that cares but the internal reality is actually more ruthless.
