Upper management lacks direction Constant threat of losing your job, multiple rounds of layoffs Bonus plan not correlated to our inputs Regional directors are clueless (On how to do anything) Lack of information from product team down or new initiatives Limited ability to make an impact to direct revenue Confusing team structure Market Managers do the same job as Market specialists, yet earn a 30+% Base salary, and have ability to bonus 100% of salary compared to only 20% for Specialists.

pay, remote, some good/smart people in pockets

Cons

Senior leaders could not care less about employees and routinely make bad market decisions leading to foreseeable product issues and eventual layoff cycles. There was a time a few years back where employees criticized the dark patterns in the app - the president got pissed and said 'the data didn't show it was an issue', then a few months later when we got bad press about those patterns dismissed it as our competitors planting stories - sums up the culture pretty clearly.
