Pros

You get to work remotely.

Cons

This workplace is highly unstable, with constant changes and a pervasive atmosphere of uncertainty. Management frequently(like every month is a new thing) shifts priorities, making it difficult to stay aligned with goals. Job security is virtually non-existent, as there is a high possibility of being fired at any time without much notice. The stress from this unpredictability outweighs any potential benefits of the job. Not recommended for those seeking stability and peace of mind, and when it comes to scheduling flexibility I give them 3/10, the culture has changed a lot in the past 4 years, not the welcoming and cozy atmosphere they had a few years back.

Pros

pay, remote, some good/smart people in pockets

Cons

Senior leaders could not care less about employees and routinely make bad market decisions leading to foreseeable product issues and eventual layoff cycles. There was a time a few years back where employees criticized the dark patterns in the app - the president got pissed and said 'the data didn't show it was an issue', then a few months later when we got bad press about those patterns dismissed it as our competitors planting stories - sums up the culture pretty clearly.
