Pros

They have been very good at allowing me to be flexible with my time. Because of this, I can attend to personal matters when they come up.

Cons

I was hired with the expectation of doing one type of work, and I am doing nothing remotely close to the work & direction that I would like to take in my career. They cut off overtime, then cut pay 10%, they changed the rules on tuition reimbursement, and they are still hinting at lay-offs. I'd prefer to keep my 10% and take my chances with lay-offs. They are also yanking retirement medical coverage for people who chose the old system over the "one-time-cash-out" system they adopted in the late 90s.

Pros

Honeywell has a really good early careers program.

Cons

If you like upstate New York, then it's a really pleasant place to work.

Pros

The team is great and people are excited to have you there. You are given value-added work and projects week 1. There are a lot of other interns at both the graduate and undergraduate level so there is a strong sense of intern community and support. If you have to relocate for the internship, complete housing is provided (they find you an apartment and pay for everything - results on the apartment itself may vary but are generally close to the office).

Cons

Varying start dates led to varying first day experience. The onboarding day for those who had it day 1 was great, but some interns got it after their first week and had little direction day 1.
