      Pros

      Excellent work/life balance: flexible work environments, generous PTO, collaborative team environment, and the 'day ends at 5 o'clock' mentality. Compared to other corporate environments, Hilton's is the best I've experienced.

      Cons

      The company is huge so it is hard to effect change across multiple teams or departments. It is easy to be pigeon-holed and get good at one 'thing' and then be stuck doing that 'thing'.

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
